Six Sigma Training:
Educating our employees is also one of the main conditions for developing a Six Sigma Culture. That’s why we train continuously on different levels of intensity.
Six Sigma training levels at PVT:
Green Belt and Orange Belt Training: Green Belt and Orange Belt trainings are done by our own Black Belts as well as by experienced employees. The Green Belt training takes 8 days and the Orange Belt training takes 3 days of teaching theory: business processes and its backgrounds as well as Six Sigma methods and Six Sigma tools are clearly communicated with numerous practical examples. Green Belts have to work on an improvement project during the training and have to finish it. The target of Orange Belt training is to transfer the knowledge of basic Six Sigma Methods and basic Six Sigma Tools to all of the employees. The participants get a certificate and a Six Sigma T-Shirt.
"We talk a common language”
Black Belt Training: A Black Belt uses specific Six Sigma methods and Six Sigma tools in order to improve administrative as well as productive business processes, products and procedures. They know the company and its potentials. We choose our candidates for Black Belt Training according to those criteria. Key positions e.g. managers or team leaders usually take part in the training, but also junior staff members are included. The training programme involves 4 weeks of theoretical training which is done by external management consultants (e. g. Kienbaum).
